NOTICE

 EARLY PROCESSING OF ABSENTEE BALLOTS

Pursuant to State Election Board Emergency Rule 183-1-14-0.9-.15, the Clayton County Board of Elections and Registration intends to begin processing absentee ballots cast for the January 5, 2021 General Runoff Elections beginning on Monday, December 21, 2020.

777 bắn cá vàngThe opening of ballot envelopes and scanning of ballots will begin each day at 9:00 AM and conclude at 4:00 PM until completed. A sign will be posted on the front door notifying the public if there is any change to this schedule or if activities are suspended for any period. This activity will be take place at the Clayton County Board of Elections and Registration Elections Center, 7946 North McDonough Street, Jonesboro, Georgia  30236. 

Early processing of absentee ballots shall be controlled, such that ballot secrecy is maintained. The collection or disclosure of any balloting information before the close of the polls at 7:00 P.M. on Election Day is strictly prohibited.

Any members of the public who wish to observe will be required to check-in, receive a badge, take an oath, and relinquish cell phones or other electronic recording devices prior to viewing this process.

SUBJECT: NOTICE OF CLAYTON COUNTY BOARD OF ELECTIONS AND REGISTRATION LOGIC & ACCURACY TESTING – 2021 JANUARY RUNOFF ELECTION
DATE: NOVEMBER 29, 2020

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, in accordance with O.C.G.A. 21-2-379.6 (c) that the public Logic and Accuracy Testing on the Touch Screen and Optical Scan Voting Equipment to be used in the January Runoff Election to be held on January 5, 2021 will commence on the following date, time, and location:
DATE: Thursday, December 3, 2020
TIME: 9:00 AM
PLACES: Elections Center
7946 North McDonough Street
Jonesboro, GA 30236
Testing will continue day to day until completion.
